Rohilkhand Cancer Institute was started in 2022 on the campus of Prestigious Rohilkhand Medical College and Hospital, Bareilly. The idea behind it was to close the gap in the unmet needs of cancer-affected patients of Bareilly and adjoining districts. Rohilkhnad Cancer Institute is the first to provide PET-CT Services in the region. Rohilkhand Cancer Institute envisions providing comprehensive cancer care in the form of Surgical oncology, Medical oncology, radiation oncology, nuclear medicine, palliative care as well Oncology nursing.
Rohilkhand Cancer Institute is a 200-bed tertiary care Oncology Center situated in the heart of the city of Bareilly. distance 245 km from Lucknow, and 255 km from Delhi. It is well connected by Air and Rail. Bareilly Airport is only 2 km and Railway Junction is 5 km.

RADIATION ONCOLOGY SERVICES-
The institute was started with the intention of providing patients with State-of-the-art radiotherapy facilities of international standards with comprehensive cancer care at affordable, nominal charges. Radiotherapy is a highly effective form of cancer treatment with a wide range of uses and applications.
- EXTERNAL BEAM RADIOTHERAPY- The department has State of an Art True Beam STX LINAC machine for External beam radiotherapy. It is capable of providing Photon therapy (6 Mv,10Mv,15Mv) modalities like SRS, SBRT, IGRT, IMRT, VMAT, and 3D CRT. It is also capable of providing ELECTRON THERAPY for superficial tumours like skin malignancies.
- BRACHYTHERAPY- The department has a COBALT-BASED SAGINOVA 25-channel state-of-the-art brachytherapy unit from BEBIG (German).
- CT SIMULATOR- The Department has a dedicated wide bore (80 cm Gantry) GE CT scan machine for radiotherapy simulation and planning.
PET SCAN /NUCLEAR MEDICINE SERVICES
Rohilkhand Cancer Institute is the first to provide PET-CT Services in the region. It has 2nd generation GE 3-ring PET CT. This PET CT is the only one available between Delhi and Lucknow covering an area of 200 Km square.
